Alexis Leigh Greenberg is a fine art photographer whose work offers a sophisticated exploration of landscape, nature, and portraiture. Her artistic journey began in childhood with a handmade pinhole camera, evolving into a lifelong dedication to the craft. This early curiosity has matured into a distinctive visual language—one that reflects both technical precision and a deeply personal connection to the natural world.
Born in Maryland, Greenberg divides her time between the Washington, DC metropolitan area and Sonoma County, California, drawing inspiration from the diverse environments she inhabits and explores. Her practice is informed by formal studies in fine art photography at Glen Echo Park, the University of Maryland, Syracuse University, and the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
Since her debut at ARTEXPO New York in 2008, Greenberg’s work has been exhibited widely and is held in private and public collections across the United States and internationally, including Italy, England, South America, and South Africa. Her photographs are sought after by collectors for their refined aesthetic, atmospheric depth, and ability to capture the poetic interplay between nature and perception.
